Paul Smith
Paul first gained fame as penciller of the Uncanny X-Men in the mid-80's.
Before that, he had stints on Doctor Strange and Iron-Man. He has
frequently talked about Steve Ditko's influence on his work and life, and
it certainly shows on this piece. He doesn't accept many commissions,
but he was kind enough to do this piece for me in November 2000.
He was also nice enough to include the preliminary sketches, seen below.
